London to Paris cycle ride
Peter Gibbons, Director of Medical Web Designs completed the 350 miles cycle ride in 3 days from London to Paris finishing on 24th July. Peter says "It was a great event and we were very lucky with the weather - I cycled it with a couple of friends and we had a great time - the roads were fantastic - there were 600 riders in total and the amount we raised for Action Medical Research reached just over £1 million - which is a fantastic achievement."
The icing on the cake for Peter was watching the final of the Tour De France arrive on the Sunday - Peter commented "watching the pro riders come in with all their entourage was spectacular - watching Mark Cavendish sprint at 70 KPH along the Champs Elysees was just breathtaking."
No doubt Peter will be thinking of some more cycling events soon ! Watch this space.
